Have Real Things Around #4 – Friends

In the previous blog, I wrote about the false and true information.

The information comes from some source. Likely the true information comes from a trustworthy source and false comes from the other.

False information is confusing, which as the result makes you waste your time. You also waste your energy. When you realize the information is not quite right, you feel betrayed, disappointed and angry. This ‘hick-ups’ often give the negative impact on your following life.

People around you are the major source of the information you get. That’s why the same principle is applied to the people around you.

You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends. You can choose who you listen to.

You want to have true friends. It is waste of your time and energy to hang around with false friends.

True friends want you to be more successful. They want you to be happy.

They respect you. They may have their own idea but don’t push it to you.

They like to listen to you. They want to understand you. They give you a new perspective to see the world. They want to learn from you.

True friends don’t do a power struggle. They don’t pressure you to be on their side. They don’t use you.

True friends don’t always agree with you. True friends speak honestly, and they don’t ignore your counter argument.

Have true friends around you. They are the most precious things for you.

And be a true friend to someone important to you.
