“Do you know when is the best time to plant a tree?”
Yesterday my daughter asked me.
As a passionate gardener, I started to think.
“Hmm, probably spring?’
With a big grin, she continued.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now!”
Later I learned it’s an old Chinese saying.
Isn’t it so true, the time it should have done was always the past – regret.
However the time never comes back. So, instead of crying for something you can’t change, do your best now.
